John Johns received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Loyola University, and his Masters of Education in Biology from McGill University in Montreal. He has been teaching for 17 years, seven of which have been as co-ordinator of Biology at Prince Edward College in Eastwick. He is actively involved in the Advanced Placement programme in Biology and has conducted numerous field experiences to study marine biology, giant tortoises, and the Nile River. He has been responsible at PEC for developing Biology curricula from Grade 9 - OAC.
Ruth Rice completed her undergraduate degree in History at York, an MA in history at the University of Toronto, and an MA and PhD in Sociology at McMaster University. She has taught history and sociology at McMaster and Waterloo, and is currently teaching Canadian History. Ruth is past Chair of the Newfound Preparatory School Board of Governors and is currently Board Chair of St. Elmo's Hospital in Brantford and Vice Chair of the Brantford District Health Council.
